Do you love plants? If you are outgoing, friendly, energetic,
can work independently and handle a wide range of tasks, we would like
to receive your resumé. We periodically have positions available for
interior plant technicians.
This position requires a strong sense
of responsibility. A technician must be bondable and have a valid California
driver’s license with a clean driving and insurance record. A technician
must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects.
Our technicians
provide top quality care for indoor plants in a wide variety of commercial
and residential establishments.
Technicians must be able to drive
between clients locations, stopping at each location, providing excellent
care for the plants, including watering, fertilizing, dusting, inspecting,
pruning, and rotating plants.
It is a demanding position, but
has great personal rewards. In addition to the satisfaction of caring
for hundreds of plants, technicians get to meet and interact with a variety
of people from a wide range of businesses. Although technicians work
on a set schedule, they are on the go and are able to vary their day by
scheduling an independent daily routine. Once a schedule is set, the
technician is responsible for the accounts. Some installation of new
accounts will also be part of a technicians position.
Technicians
learn about a huge array of plants, including watering techniques, pruning
techniques, pest control, and disease identification. Our technicians
get on-the-job training along with all of the necessary tools for the
care and maintenance of every location serviced.
